As Turkey moves towards introducing mortgages for foreigners for the first time, investors are predicting real estate price increases of between 50-100 percent.
The Turkish Parliament adopted the new law on 6th March 2007, which makes mortgages available over long periods to house buyers. This is expected to transform both the housing market and Turkey’s urban environment.
